Had GM at 7am this morning. Its been a while since I last came to school this early. After GM was supposed to be another meeting but it was postponed to 4pm. So basically I stoned, had a picnic and gossiped until 11am when my pw group came. Practised OP with my pw group then we went to Bukit Timah Plaza KFC for lunch. I ate alot! Super full. But the meal was really good cos I haven't had KFC for a long time too. Returned to school for the 4pm meeting. The meeting was kinda slow-moving cos we had to go through the list of OGLs one by one. But at least we managed to confirm most of the OGLs already. Then had EXCO meeting. We discussed more about council structure with the teachers. In the end, the meeting ended just a little after 8pm. Really tired... and Confused by daniel! hahas.
Tomorrow's my birthday! (: Don't feel like growing up though... hahas. Anyway, thanks for the balloon and all the messages on the balloon! Really nicely done. hahas. Especially to my pw group for bringing so much fun and laughter. (:

Visited OCS today. Its been quite sometime since I last had an excursion. The visit started out being quite boring then it got more interesting. We first visited an exhibition. Didn't see much because there were so many people. Then we went to see the food ration. Being as greedy as usual, I went to get a packet of food. hahas. It was really surprising that the food in the packets were actually tasty. We went to see the dorms. They won't as bad as expected. Then we had demos and hands-on activties which are interesting. I tried the rifle shooting but too bad didn't managed to shoot down anyone. hahas. The night vision equipment is really cool. We returned to the exhibition. This time, we were the only group there. Si Jia, Jo-lin, Jia Wen and I went to visit the exhibition. We got really 'high' and tried out all the gadgets. We giggled alot like a bunch of crazy girls. But it was really fun this way. I bet the guys at the exhibition were secretly laughing at us. hahas. After the exhibition, we had a mini picnic! Actually it was only my Ruffles and Pei Xuan's Chachos.

After the visit to OCS, we returned to school. Pei Xuan, Wan Qing and I went to West Mall to eat. Had Subway! We talked alot. hahas.

It was NJC open day yesterday. Proud to be: The NEW Generation. Came to school super early on a Saturday morning. Did up the house board then had to report for duty. Of course we all changed into our open day tee which design can be improved. hahas. I was to get people to do a survey form on open day but apparently, everyone is coming in and not leaving yet. So I had nothing to do and got really bored. I then asked to be a tour guide. So I managed to be occupied by tour guide duty. Every group that I brought on the school tour was here for the 6-year ip program. Haiz... This is what you will get when you schedule open day just 2 days before Olevels. Anyway, was really tired and my legs were really sore by climbing up and down the whole school. Estee, Lynn, Wen Shin and Cheryl popped by. When it was near 3pm, all the cca booths were closing already. Helped to rearrange the library and cleared the banners. Went to island creamery to meet my classmates. Audrey is really disgusting when she drank the melted ice-cream. GROSS Audrey! hahas. The busride journey home with Silvesta, Clarissa, Pei Xuan, Audrey and Jia Wen was really funny. Met Olivia at AMK busstop. hahas. So qiao. That day I met Shuh Ying at the same busstop! When I reached home, my sister told me that Adeline was on the same bus as me! Aiyah. She never came to say 'hi'. Went to my uncle's house for dinner. My dinner was good. hahas. Maybe cos I'm really hungry since I only had a slice of pandan cake for lunch. I was really tired so knocked out pretty early.
Visited 2 temples today. I had to thank the gods for blessing me with good results. hahas. Then went to J8 for lunch. My dad went to carwash after lunch and after the car was wiped dry, it rained! hahas. All the effort was wasted.

Got back my promos' results yesterday! I am really shocked at my results but nonetheless very happy. (: Some people will kill me for this but since my blog is like my journal, I feel like putting down my results. hahas. So here goes: (promos) Bio-A, Chem-A, Maths-A, Econs-C, GP-D. (overall=promos+cts+va) Bio-A, Chem-B, Maths-A, Econs-C, GP-C.
It's been PW and preparation for open day after that. Just had my OP dry run this morning. And InR is due tomorrow! Haiz... I must wait till 3rd Nov to officially say BYE to PW. hahas.

Ok. Haven't really been updating although promos has ended. So here's what I did during my weekends!
Friday (after school):
Went to Hwa Chong's Open Day. Looked around, spotted friends and got the goody bag! hahas. I was shocked at the number of st nicks students who came for the open day. It was half of the yellow badge cohort! Hopefully NJC's open day can have that many people too. Prepared for YEC which was to begin at 6pm. Carried balloons, decorated the entrance to the hall... Then YEC started. It was okay except that the number of people who turned out was quite disappointing. Jaslin and I helped DianFeng with his bouncer job since we had nothing to do as cleaners yet. Then an accident happened at the staircase next to the hall. This was the first time in my life that I saw such a bloody accident in school. Being in st johns for 4 years was a good thing cos I was able to help. Luckily there was another first aider there cos although I appeared calm, I was really scared looking at the amount of blood on the floor and on the casualty herself. The ambulance came and brought her to the hospital. We cleared up the mess after she left. After the accident, I totally lost my appetite so I skipped dinner. hahas. I didn't have the mood to dance at the hall cos the image of the accident was in my mind and it still is. Luckily the girl was okay after the accident.
Saturday:
Early in the morning, I had to take the MRT to WanQing's house in Boon Lay to do pw. WanQing was super funny cos she was really blur. Couldn't really blame her cos she just woke up but then again, she didn't know which bus to take to the MRT station from her house despite living there for so many years! hahas. After pw went to Orchard for my dental appointment. Had lunch, shopped around, returned home, watched TV and napped. Went to teachers' estate for dinner. After dinner, watched TV and slept. Nothing much.
Sunday:
Watched TV in the morning. The variety show was really hilarious and I kept laughing. hahas. Had an early lunch cos there was an exco meeting at KAP at 1pm. For the exco meeting, all the girls exco members except one turned up for the meeting while there was only two guys who turned up--- Letts and ZiXiang. hahas. Girls are more responsible than guys! (: So Letts and ZiXiang were honourary girls for the day. We discussed about orientation then council structure then councillors performance. Went to nette's house after the meeting. Played mahjong and Wii. Laughed alot like always during the visit. It was good to meet up with squadmates again! (: First time seeing nette's dog, Yoshi. He is really playful. He kept disturbing me when I was eating and after that. hahas. But it was quite fun playing with him. My closest contact with a dog! Apparently he likes me and kept following me for a period of time.

Council is back into my life again after the break during promos. Today, went to school to help with the cleaning of council room. Gosh. The council room is really dirty and there are so many things! We took everything out and cleaned them. I didn't paint the council room but then the council room is now in a really bright yellow colour. hahas. Solaris! We also rearranged the council room so now it looks a lot more spacious. Went to attend the Liberal Arts College focus group session with 12 other students and 2 visitors from NUS. It was surprisingly quite a lively discussion where everyone shared their views on LAC. I'm quite disappointed that LAC will not be set up in time for my batch so I can't really see for myself how good it really is. Now, I'm still puzzled about my future career. Tmr is school reopen day. Haiz... Although it does alreadly felt like school reopened since my PW group is always meeting early and I have to be back in school for council. I'm going to miss waking up late.
