"Wow, its already the 1st of Feb. One month just passed like that?" Thats what I told Lynn at the chem lab today and she happily replied me, "Ya. Time passes so fast." And so all the way until lunch time, I have been thinking that today is the 1st of Feb and not 31st Jan. My watch showed WED, 1, so I really did thought that today is the 1st of Feb, without realising that my watch was wrong. So, all my worksheets and homework today are marked 1/2/07. Even my chinese compo, I wrote 2007nian2yue1ri. So smart. Wonder what will happen if Mr Soh marked it. Anyway, we had forum today for English lesson. We were the 2nd team to go due to Estee's 'lucky' choice. But it wasn't too bad cos we only managed to hear 1 group today. Therefore, my group did not have to present today! (: Art lesson today was more productive than the previous lessons although my shading on the 2 boys doing thai-boxing is so ugly and so wrong. But I spent a lot of time on it so its a little pitiful not to add it in onto my prep work board. haiz... headache... headache...

Yesterday was terrible. I had a big headache plus I kept wanting to vomit. So I had a plastic bag in my hand, plasters all over my head, tucked up in my parents' bed and watching TV. I wanted to skip dinner but my mother refused to let me so I had my dinner at 9pm.
Felt much better today. Woke up early to do tuition homework before going for tuition. Had CNY shopping after dinner. hahas. Shopped for new clothes! (: I managed to get a dress, a skirt and a belt. The purple skirt is like almost identical to the black one that I wore for POC. Too bad we could only shopped until 8 plus cos my brother had to sleep by 9pm since tomorrow is a school day. Can't wait for CNY!

SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH. The funniest lesson of the whole day- English! I was so sick in the morning, kept sneezing and it was a really cold morning. Wasn't really able to concentrate cos I kept wanting to sleep. But English lesson was very entertaining. We learnt how to pronounce words and to practise our vocals. I was looking forward to how Mr Nunn will pronounce my name but I guess Xiu Qi was a more difficult name to pronounce than mine. Luckily Mr Nunn said my voice was ok except for the word 'lead'. Lunch time was a big rush, went to the canteen, having fun speaking good English on the way. Then came the part that I left my wallet in class, ran back to class. Had my lunch and went to queue up to buy toasts. The queue was super long and we were running late so in the end, I just bought whatever toasts that were already made. The sec ones came for cca today! Although I didn't really got to see and know all of them, I kinda have my first impression on them le. cca was ok today, lots of games but not orientation yet. I'm really tired, weekends going to be really busy with all the homework. I shall sleep very early tonight, maybe 9pm. (:

I'm feeling good now cos no more tests for this week! (: Chemistry test was right at the first period so after that, I was 'free'! The day went pass quite quickly. Childhood memories! I love playing! Played with Xueting then Estee then Huiying then Cheryl. Went down for training after extra lesson. Its kinda nice talking to your juniors, recalling all the past 3 years in school. Using the computer and watching TV will be what I'm going to do...... ITS TIME FOR A BREAK!

I have a terrible dream last night! I dreamt of a devil who can go into human bodies and make them commit suicide. So in my dream, many people died by jumping down the building, not knowing anything at all. Its super scary when I woke up and still can remember the dream. Anyway, had Monday blues today. Super no energy. Ended the day with a horrible Maths test, which I didn't have time to complete, which I left out the questions with the most no. of marks, which made me feel very lousy that I couldn't concentrate doing my homework when I went back home. And DEBBIE TAN still don't want to tell me something that she wanted to tell me but decided not to. Its really irritating cos you want to know what it is but the person just don't want to tell you.

Last night was awful, had stomachache in the middle of the night and kept visiting the toilet. Went to the toilet once then return to bed then got up to go to the toilet, in the end, I decided to sleep outside the toilet. I slept outside the toilet all the way until morning when my dad woke me up and I went to sleep on my bed.
Anyway lets talk about POC. Reached KCP chao early that the gate was not opened yet. Waited for the rest to come before going into the school to change into half-u. When we fall-in, my group had only 3 girls. Come to think of it, it is easier to take care and look out for only 3 members in the group instead of 6. Basically, in the morning was practising for the parade and practising getting up on the stage to receive the prize. It started raining in the afternoon when we were about to have our lunch. And so after lunch, change into full-u and had photo taking session. It stopped raining and we continued with the parade followed by the prize-giving ceremony. I passed anco! (: But my group had 2 people who failed... and when I saw Hidayah crying, then Debbie started to cry, I started crying along too. I think I shocked Whye Keat when I suddenly crying for no reason. Both Debbie and I felt that Hidayah shouldn't have failed, its quite unfair. Then the best group cadet catergory. St nicks bagged lots of best group cadet for BNCO and 3 for ANCO. We also had the best course cadet for BNCO and 2 best knowledge. (: After the ceremony, we changed into our night attire and had dinner. We surprised Lynette with a cake for her birthday. hahas. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNETTE! (: We took the food and ended dinner with a cheer and yum seng. Also not forgetting all the photos we took. We went back to the auditorium for the night programme. We played games and danced to songs but I felt that last year's POC was much nicer. We had our last parade and was chased out of school. Wells, thats the end.

Morning jog after such a long time. (: It feels really great but I want the music! hahas. My mood was really good today cos there's no test today but Mr Soh just came in and told us that there will Chinese test next week with dictation! It really spoilt my mood. So now, mon-Amaths, wed-Chinese and thu-Chemistry. Plus Chemistry is like all the topics from sec 3 and I will be dismissed late on wed! argh. I had recess duty today. Come to think of it, doing recess duty on friday isn't that bad. Firstly, I have Wenshin to pei wo. Secondly, we take the first half an hour while our mentees will take over us at the 2nd half an hour. (: Had cca today. It started to drizzle and so we had activation first. I was quite happy when they managed to get all the injuries right but I'm not sure if they treated them correctly. PT was next but I spent my time with Lynette solving something. (: hahas. Its illegal to do it during cca. Anyway, PT was slack today and suddenly Debbie got really high, announcing to the juniors about Rain's concert. Wah, can't stand her! Plus she made up a lame cheer for avocet. haiz... We spent our time talking when they were having footdrill. Debbie sprayed the can and the thing went into my eyes lah! It was stinging my eye and after that Debbie kept playing 8 different kinds of the same game. All she made up one except for the 1st. POC is tmr and my weekend is going to be really really busy. haiz... I hope next week doesn't come. DREAM ON.

I'm glad this week's tests are over. I'm glad tomorrow is Friday. I'm glad I had a good laugh after lunch today (before I realised I lost my antibiotics). I feel so free after school today, like a heavy load that has been taken off my shoulders. I even enjoyed assembly although I was standing up the whole time and the weather was so hot. Maths remedial ain't so bad, considering it was only half an hour. Went down for training. (: I can't believe Huiying, Olivia and Kaixin actually counts the 30 CPR compressions, holding their breath all the way through! Its quite impossible for me to do that. Anyway their training was not proper yet and so being of no help, I did my maths homework. Save time. (:
I'll treasure all my free time. Although this week's tests are over, a new cycle will begin next week, starting with Amaths on Monday. I really wonder if I can hold on all the way to 'O's are done.

Went out to buy skirt for poc today with debbie, jaslin, huiying, kaixin, olivia, boonyi, xinrong, lynette and waner. (: Went to J8 in the morning for breakfast then met Jaslin and Debbie at bishan mrt station. We waited for Kaixin, Olivia and Huiying to come but we ended up waiting chao long cos Kaixin was stuck at Yishun waiting for Olivia! Anyway, we took more than an hour to reach Bugis including the waiting time. Shopped at Bugis for the skirt. We went to This Fashion then Edge then Seiyu but still no nice skirt. So we had lunch at Pasta Mania. We splitted up after lunch. Waner, Olivia, Debbie, Boonyi, Lynette and I went to Bugis street. My first time there! Its so squeezy cos there's alot of people plus the shops are all like linked and they look alike so I don't know if we went pass this shop before. If I shop there alone, I'll be lost. hahas. Waner is so worried for me lah, cos she scared I will be lost in the crowd and so I can't stand at the back. hahas. And everytime we pass by 'ss' she will push my head down or cover my eyes. hahas. I'm too innocent. (: We spent so long there but we can't find a skirt for Olivia and Debbie that is suitable for them and can fit them. Olivia is so fussy! hahas. We came to this shop that both of them saw the skirts that they like but too bad both skirts cannot fit and there's no larger size. At the other side, Kaixin managed to get a skirt at OG and Huiying and Kaixin got their top at This Fashion. So, we decided to go to OG. We walked and walked. Got a skirt for Olivia to try on but she doesn't like it. haiz... It was already 5pm then. We met the other group at Bugis street. They decided to go to Far East to get a skirt for Olivia but it was kinda late so Debbie and I went home. Before going to the station, we went to Edge again, trying to get a skirt for Debbie. But in the end, still no skirt. We wanted to get star earrings but in the end, also never get. We were tired of all the walking so we finally boarded the train. On the train, Debbie kept yawning then I kept yawning. Its so funny lah. She started yawning then I yawned. After a while she yawned again then I yawned. This continued for a few minutes. Suddenly both of us didn't feel like going to POC. All the hassle in getting a skirt for POC. Plus I didn't get anything and everyone is wearing different tops and skirts. What a waste of time.

Its really hard to use the computer for a long time since there are tests to study for and homework to be done. I managed to use the comp now cos I have english homework and physics answer sheet to download from edulearn. (: Ok, after physics lessons today, we finally have our first PE lesson. Mass PE with 4 classes! We took our height and weight. I grew taller and heavier. Played volleyball next, my arms were really red. Chemistry practical session. I realised I caused chemical contamination cos I was the first one to use the sodium chloride and I forgot to cover it with its cap. haiz... Like that SPA sure fail de. Anyway, Biology test is postponed for Art/MEP girls! haiz... I studied for this Biology test on Sunday and now, my test is on Thursday! My information in my brain all gone le by then. 1st proper Art lesson with our new Art teacher Miss Rose. She took a really long time marking attendance. Oh, and so many people quit Art this year. She is so strict, she won't allow us to eat food in the class and definitely not being late for the class, so unlike Mr Foo. We received our themes for the Olevel coursework. We did brainstorming, quite a waste of time cos she gave us alot of time for brainstorm, and we went to view last year's students' coursework. At 5.30pm we were dismissed. So many homework to do today plus I have to rewrite my hongloumeng! haiz...

Its the 2nd week of school. Had assembly in the hall. Chinese lesson was very short but Mr Soh managed to entertain us, or at least me. Chemistry started on salts and Maths finished mean, median, mode. I finally remembered to collect my ic during recess today. Biology started on homeostasis. We watched a video on the bombing of Hiroshima for History but we didn't manage to watch alot cos we were late. Physics lesson went through holiday homework. Mrs Khong teaches really fast, or maybe I just cannot remember much about specific heat capacity. Went to the forum to help out in the registration of cca. The forum was so noisy, and we were screaming and shouting. In the end, we had 28 people who signed up for sj, out of which there were 9 china scholars! What was so disappointing was that nobody from my counselling sec 1 class came to sign up for sj. haiz... We went to the canteen for lunch and chatted. Tested Lynette on Biology which I happily managed to finish studying yesterday. We chatted about POC and what to wear. Of course, we kept changing the subject so we ended up chatting until 5pm.

Sec one orientation camp:
5/1/07
Missed the whole day of lessons for this camp. Ice breakers were really fun although we kept changing our venue. We played more games and sang campfire songs during class bonding session. After lunch was games. Although we only won for 1 station against purity, we cheered alot. (: I left before the last station for cca. Suddenly PT became so much like ANCO PT. Anyway, I went back just in the time for the last game, which is a water game. Not really very fun cos there wasn't enough water. Went back to cca again all the way until dinner. Wanted to see the announcement of zc groupings. When everyone was getting ready for campfire at the field, I was happily eating. hahas. During the campfire, all the counsellors were standing up cheering, singing except Florence and I. hahas. We were sitting behind the sec ones. Then it rained. Moved to the forum to perform our class item and to finish up with the campfire. We had our bathing time after the sec ones sleep. After briefing, accompanied Debbie who was happily trying to finish up her maths homework which was supposed to be handed in 2 days ago. I was holding the torch for her before that then at around 1am, I fell asleep. I had weird weird dreams.
6/1/07
Huiying woke me up at 5.35am! and my alarm hasn't go off yet! But we woke up and brushed our teeth. I went down to help with the breakfast, carrying the packets and milos to the tables. After a talk in the hall, cca fair began. My class started off with SJ booth! (: Brought them around to the different ccas. It was a really hot day. Debrief at the hall, cleaned up the classroom and left for home. Went for lunch with squadmates and Debbie entertained me with riddles after the meal. I was so tired after the camp plus my throat hurts and my voice is weird. I shouted and cheered too loud during games le. Went home, bathed, slept. Slept all the way until dinner time and we went to Beach road for dinner all the way until10pm. So basically, I didn't touch my books today. I shall study tomorrow! (:

2nd day of school. Talk in the hall before going for lessons. We had chemistry, maths and english. Our first english lesson with Mr Nunn. He's really funny and he's expression was weird when he couldn't hear what Jaslene was saying. After recess was talk at the hall again by Mr Wong, Mrs Teo and Mrs Goh. I was quite sleepy during the talk. After that we had to fill in a form about our particulars. My pen had no ink halfway then I had to wait for Gloria to finish up filling before I can continue. I was the last to hand up from my class. hahas. Uniform check after everything. My uniform couldn't make it lah! It was too short. hahas. On the positive side, I have grown! (: After school had meeting before minicom reassessment. I must say it was quite a disappointment. We had sj meeting after the assessment until 6.30pm! Tomorrow's sec 1 orientation camp!

First day of school. Had a bad time tossing and turning on bed last night cos I wasn't used to sleeping so early. Woke up at 5.50am today, got ready and left house at 6.35am. Climbed up so many stairs today to the classroom, its quite tiring actually. hahas. After putting my bag down, went to level 2 to ask people to go down for assembly. They must have think the prefects are mad, chasing them down for assembly at 7.05am. Everyone managed to be down at the field on time. During prayer, someone almost fainted and I was actually quite freaked out. She swayed and kept falling. We took a long time persuading her to go sit at the stairs. Stayed behind to look after her plus there was this P6 girl who was unwell too. Chatted with the P6 girl, she is quite talkative. After assembly, went to Sec 1 Loyalty, my counseling class. (: Went back to class again for administration work plus got to see the new school magazine! Went to hall for security talk and cip talk before going for recess. After recess, went to drama studio to meet the Sec 1s to bring them back to class for ice-breakers. We took a long time doing self-intro and 3 people want to join sj! hahas. We played charades and went around shouting:" We love 1 Loyalty!" Changed seating arrangement for the class to make them bond together. (: Rushed back to continue maths lesson before going for counsellor meeting, missing art meeting and the opportunity to see my new art teacher. Went out to buy stuffs with Huiying and Xilei. Returned home, bathed, read the magazine again, marked my biology ws and did my maths homework. (:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Woke up really late today cos stayed up quite late last night. Went to J8 for brunch and I tried the Pepper Lunch at the food court. We went shopping and my mum brought my sister and I to seiyu to buy Chinese New Year clothes. Its a little too early to do that. I didn't buy any clothes for Chinese New Year but I did get myself a black shorts, a red and orange shorts as well as a black shirt. Too bad black cannot be worn during Chinese New Year cos its unlucky to do so. We continued shopping before returning home. My cousins came over to play and again, I hardly can concentrate doing my homework with all the temptations in the house. haiz...
