Since yesterday, I've been doing volunteer work for sdsc at the heeren. Tomorrow's my last day but we can still go back to help. Initially my job was to do gift wrapping but gift wrapping isn't popular enough thus we did balloon sculpturing. I learnt how to do balloon flower, sword, butterfly, rabbit... It was really fun! Then we'll bring the balloons to the street to sell to raise funds. I've been meeting friends along the street for the past 2 days! Hahas. It's really nice to meet friends cos you know they may support you. So, if you are near heeren, do come down and support! (:

Yesterday was a LONG and TIRING day with activities packed to the fullest but it was a very MEMORABLE one too! (:
Went to NLB in the morning to attend a welcome session for JC3 PSC interns. First time wearing office wear! hahas. Met up with Letts and ZX. There was a talk by the director. It was formal yet informal. Then it was buffet lunch. We sat down and asked questions regarding the Civil Service, PSC, Scholarships...
We then went on a learning journey to ISD Heritage Centre. It was a very interesting trip and I found out more about Singapore's history as well as what ISD does.
Rushed to Raffles City as prom starts at 7pm and the learning journey ended at 5plus. I got to Quest Salon at Raffles City and had my hair washed, blowed and styled. First time having my hair washed at a salon! hahas. It felt good. The lady who attended to me was very nice. She allowed my mum to do makeup for me while she did my hair. hahas. I felt like an artiste! Then I changed into my prom dress and off I went to prom. hahas. All these were done in an hour!
Reached the function room and it was a mess outside because both NJC and HCJC were having prom at the same time and at the same venue! Anyway, took many photos outside and the poor juniors had to chase us in, just like what my council had to do last year. hahas.
The programme started and we got to enjoy dance and band performances, lucky draws, contests... I didn't win the lucky draw! :( And the prizes were really good. See lah GuanHao, give me such a lousy number! hahas. Just kidding! The food was also served. It was better than my sec 4 prom food although it was the same venue. Of course, there was still going around to take photos! Too many photos to upload on my blog. hahas.
We attended the post-prom program but it was nothing much. Then we cabbed to SiJia's house. We removed makeup, bathed and changed. We took turns to bathe and I was the last! hahas. At least I could take my time to bathe. (: We were supposed to watch DVD but the player couldn't work so we ended up playing cards and monopoly. Half-way through the monopoly game, I was dead tired so SiJia took over me and I went to sleep! The rest continued playing and they DIDN'T SLEEP till next morning. I wouldn't be able to last. hahas. We went out for breakfast and the signs of not sleeping started to act on them. We all returned home to SLEEP (i think).

Hello Blog! It has been a VERY long time since I last wrote here. hahas. Many many things happened during this period of time. Happy times, Sad times... But 25Nov was a memorable day and I need to blog about it. hahas. It was the last day that I could step into the school compound of SNG before it undergoes renovation. I'm going to miss it! And all the days that I had spent in it. It was there for 25years!!!
The morning started off with our annual sports day! I can still rmb the days I organised sports day. It was terrible but really enriching!

It feels great to wake up late on a school day! hahas. Yup, don't have to go to school this week but I'm still going for selected lessons.
Anyway, kiddo jumped out of the tank AGAIN! This time, it was in the middle of the night as my dad found it motionless in the morning. Which means, he must have been out of water for a really long time. My dad almost dumped him in the dustbin, thinking he was dead. But he wasn't! He managed to recover cos I saw him swimming in the morning when I woke up. Haiz. I hope he doesn't jump again tonight.

Went to temples to pray this morning. I think it is really good to have a religion that you strongly believe in. It gives you comfort and points out a direction that you should undertake in your life. Now, I'm clearer in seeing what are the goals in my life.
We bought new koi fishes today! My dad bought 3--- a yellow, a white and a black. My siblings and I each adopted one. Wells, my brother was the first to say he wanted the white, my sister wanted the yellow and I'm left with the black koi. hahas. We gave them names! My brother named his pyro, my sister named hers nox and I called my koi kiddo. hahas. It was really interesting to see how the new koi fishes fit into the new environment--- the tank at my roof garden. My dad noticed that pyro interacted with the old residents of the tank really quickly. The koi can socialize! hahas. Kiddo and nox went to hide when they were first introduced into the tank. Kiddo is really hyper active. I noticed that when the shopkeeper caught him with the net and he was struggling profusely. So it was no surprise that he jumped out of the tank. Nox too jumped out of the tank after kiddo. My brother found out but my sister was the one who caught them and placed them back into the tank. Poor kiddo was out of the tank for quite some time cos my sister said he was not struggling when she caught him. I just went to observe them after dinner. Looks like nox and pyro became good friends and they were together with the old residents. My poor kiddo seems to be really shy. Wells, shall observe him for a few more days. Perhaps he will become more bold once he adapts to his new home. hahas.

Had class photo taking yesterday. At least it was not the same position as last year although I'm still sitting down. hahas. I got my good side! (: For the informal photo, I got to stand! hahas. We did our flower pose. Then cos we were the last class, we made use of the same venue and used wanqing's camera to take more photos. We did Exuberance! hahas. It was actually quite cool. There was colours award in the evening. I went there for only 15 min! hahas. Listened to Mr Mannon and Mrs Cheng speeches then left for tuition.
Went to collect my new specs this morning. It doesn't look as nice as when I tried it last week. Haiz... Still getting use to it. Anyway, went to Hyatt Hotel for buffet lunch. Mr Teo was treating the council retreat team. I ate alot...again... hahas. It was really good. Thanks Mr Teo! We ate for close to 3 hours, talked about teachers, academics, movies... Then we went to cineleisure to shop for teachers' day presents. CAREBEARS! (:

Maths test is over! Felt really great cos I'm not as busy as before while studying for maths test. At least for today... Then prelims revision will come! Anyway, when I reached school today, I was met with a surprise. hahas. A few of the 42nd councillors were in formal wear and walking around school. I was wondering what was going on. And it turned out to be publicity for grad night! I'm really excited for grad night although the theme is not out yet. But grad night means the end of Alevels, the start of a long holiday, the night to dress up, take lots of photo, and feel like a princess for one night. hahas.
